The Network of Singular Research Centres of the University of Santiago de Compostela announces, as every year, its summer fellowship programme to develop extracurricular training practices. The Instituto Galego de Física de Altas Enerxías (IGFAE), a joint centre of the USC and the Xunta de Galicia, offers 10 grants, funded through the Collaboration Agreement between the Regional Ministry of Culture, Education and University and the USC for the development of strategic R&D&I actions.

The call encourages participating students to get started in research within the framework of the scientific projects developed at the IGFAE. These are the requirements:

✅The grants are aimed at undergraduate students. Applicants must be studying one of the last two years of their degree and have passed at least 55% of the credits, with an average mark equal to or higher than 8 out of 10. 8 of the 10 scholarships are reserved for students of Physics, Mathematics, or the double degree of Mathematics and Physics, or equivalent degrees.

📅 The internships will be carried out for one month, preferably from 1 to 31 July 2023. Interested students will be integrated in the work of one of the three strategic research areas of the IGFAE.

💶 🛌 The grant is €750 gross and includes accommodation in a single room in a USC residence.

🚍 Travel grants are available for people living outside Santiago de Compostela: up to €80 for students from Galicia; up to €500 for students from outside Galicia; and up to €1500 for students from other countries..
