The Galician Institute of High Energy Physics (IGFAE) is 1 of the 8 Galician Research Centres, an accreditation for the period 2019-2022 granted on the 13rd of December 2019 by the General Secretariat for Universities from the Regional Government´s Education Universities and Professional Training through the Program for the acreditation, structuring and improvement of research centres of Galicia´s University System.

The funds associated with the accreditation for the period 2019-2022 require compliance with several communication regulations associated with the ERDF 2014-2020 funds.

The aim of this page is to summarise these and other regulations.

Main communication elements

IGFAE logo

The IGFAE logo, as a joint center of the USC and the Xunta, will always be presented next to the logo of the USC and the Xunta de Galicia, maintaining the proportionality and separation indicated.

Research Centre of Galicia (Centro de Investigación de Galicia) logos

In all information and communication actions, the support of the funding must be recognized by showing:

  1. The emblem of the Union and mention of the European Union (UNIÓN EUROPEA). The EU logo will be at least the same size, measured in height or width, as the largest of the other logos.
  2. Reference to the Fund or the Funds that support the operation.
  3. The motto chosen for each fund will be included, whenever possible, to highlight the added value of the fund and the European Union: FONDO EUROPEO DE DESENVOLVEMENTO REXIONAL “Unha maneira de facer Europa”

Additionally, the logo of “tourism of Galicia” will be used as an element in all audiovisual, written or plastic communication actions.

General rules

In general, any document, website and any other material published by IGFAE must have the logo, fund program and motto of the European Union, the logo of the Xunta de Galicia, IGFAE, María de Maeztu, in addition to the tourism logo of Galicia and Xacobeo 2021-2022. Furthermore, logos of other funding institutions should be placed.

In electronic media it is mandatory to use the color version of the logos. In non-electronic media, it is possible to use black and white versions.

Conferences, workshops, seminars, courses…

In co-funded courses, seminars, presentations, etc., it is necessary to recognize the support of the funds. The minimum support consists of displaying the UE logo, together with the reference to the Fund and the motto in:

  • Program, invitations and posters (posters, roll ups, etc.).
  • Presentations or informative material associated.
  • Certificates and diplomas of assistance.
  • Websites: logos may be displayed on the footer or in a section of sponsors.

Scientific publications

The following paragraph must be included in scientific publications:

«This work has received financial support from Xunta de Galicia (CIGUS Network of Research Centers).»

Apart from this, you should take into account the special requirements of your particular case (your funding, your project’s funding or your group’s funding).
