I put the conveners of WG1 in cc., as they are the ones organising the sessions and timetable.

Asunto: [DIS2022] Re: [Indico] DIS2022: final bulletin
Dear Nestor,
I'm one of the participants of DIS2022, the talk of whom has been scheduled for the morning of Thursday, May 5th.
That was initially fine with me, nevertheless an unexpected problem came out this week. Being Vice-President of Research
in my University, I've been committed for a meeting in Madrid by the morning of the very Thursday and I've thought
to leave Santiago by Wednesday afternoon.
Would it still be possible to reschedule it such that I might deliver the talk before leaving?
Otherwise, if this is very troublesome, I can always ask one of my colleagues, also participating in the meeting, for taking my place and
surrogate me in delivering the talk.
All my best, Pp.

Dear all,
Yet another issue: please tell me how many in person and how many online talks you will have in each WG. The number of in person spakers should be directly related to the number of in person attendants and help me to decide which room for which WG. As I told, we have rooms for >100, >100, >100, 70-80, 35 and 35 persons.

Dear all,
Just three things:
- The timetable should be finished asap. I plan to send a final bulletin tomorrow and one of the items ask the speakers to check the times of their talks.
- Can you provide me with a list of posters per WG? In the general list there maybe some ones that you know they will not be presented.
- Please inform me how each WG will organise to give the summary talks on Friday 6th. For those WGs in which no one is in person at the site, the local contact might give the talk if you prefer although, of course, it can be done online.

Dear Klaus,
I would like to inform WG1 conveners, that CMS has selected the speaker for the talk:
"New constraints on PDFs, strong coupling, and SMEFT results using CMS jet data" (abstract number 138).
The speaker is: Toni Makela (DESY) (in cc)

by 闫梦石
Dear conveners,
Thanks for accepting our abstract in the format of poster.
However, all of authors currently shown in the abstract will not attend Santiago de Compostela in person, due to various reasons. But we, on behalf of the CTEQ collaboration, still wish to make this presentation. Therefore we invite another CTEQ member, Pavel Nadolsky, who will attend in person to present the poster.
I noticed that we can no longer change the abstract, so that I cannot add Pavel into the author list. I wonder whether you can help us on this issue.
Thanks and regards,
Mengshi

Dear Tyler,
We had actually just managed to upgrade your poster (abstract number 361) to a talk (new abstract number 475) in a session joint with WG6 on the Thursday, is that not possible for you?
Thanks,
Tom

Dear WG1 convenors,
I am emailing regarding my DIS abstract which was assigned a poster presentation in WG1 (see below).
Unfortunately, I am afraid that I may have a scheduling conflict during the conference that would prevent me from presenting the poster. I am not sure it is feasible to find a replacement on such short notice, so I respectively request that my poster be removed from the session.
Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns.
Best regards,

Dear Nestor,
I am registered since quite some time, however, I don't remember whether there was
a question on presence or not. In any case I plan to be with you in person.
As far as the program is concerned, ours is up and running :-)

DIS2022: final remarks
by ARMESTO PEREZ NESTOR
Dear conveners,
Just a few final remarks:
1. Please tell me who is attending in person and who is not. In any case, please all register (I see right now only 12 of you registered, and 3 indicated online). Do not pay (one person has paid, I will try to give back the registration but it will not be immediate).
2. Please fill the timetable, even if later changes appear. I need it to define the coffeee breaks, lunches and make adjustements to the social program if required.
3. Please note of the WG summaries, 25' each, on Friday. I need information on who is going to present them for each WG, note that local contacts can help in case no convener of a given WG is in person. In the summaries, I recommend that you simply highlight results instead of the impossible task to try to summarise the contributions.

Re: [DIS2022_wg5] Change contribution #54 from poster to talk? (This is a PRL / first measurement)
by yoshitaka hatta
Dear Tom,
We actually accepted more talks than the allotted time allowed, and after
this slot increase we have promoted 5 posters to a talk. We thus have only
one slot left and there are a few abstracts we are still thinking about,
including the ones you suggest. In principle, we can consider the second
abstract below for our WG (412 was not submitted to our WG), but let me
check with you 2 things.
It is possible to increase the number of slots by reducing the talk length,
say from 20min to 18min. Have you already considered that?
We got an inquiry from Fatma Aslan asking if it is possible to transfer her
poster in WG1 to a talk in WG5. This was before the slot increase so we
declined, which means she has to withdraw because she cannot come in
person. Are you perhaps considering promoting her poster to a talk?
