Bio

I am Innovation and Technology Transfer Officer at IGFAE, where I work with researchers, companies and public institutions to help turn scientific knowledge into solutions with practical value for society. I hold a PhD in High Energy Physics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I carried out my doctoral research at CIEMAT and Fermilab in the United States, where I was a member of the CDF Collaboration. My PhD focused on the search for supersymmetry, a proposed extension of our current understanding of the fundamental laws of nature, using data from the Tevatron particle collider. I later joined the CMS Collaboration at CERN, contributing to the discovery and study of the Higgs boson. My international research career also took me to Purdue University in the United States and the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium, where I continued exploring some of the most fundamental questions in particle physics. I subsequently co-founded two technology companies focused on artificial intelligence and cosmic-ray imaging. This combination of scientific research, entrepreneurship and innovation now informs my work at IGFAE, where I support researchers in bringing their knowledge and technologies beyond the laboratory and creating new opportunities for collaboration and societal impact.
