Bio

I am a cosmologist. My goal is to use astronomical observations to test physics we don\'t yet understand, such as the dark sector or cosmic inflation. This involves both data analysis and theoretical work to look for new means of extracting more information from the data – typically, the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and the large-scale structure of the Universe as traced by galaxy surveys, with gravitational lensing as the key bridge that connects them and lets us probe the invisible Universe across most of cosmic history.

I will soon be joining IGFAE as PI of the ERC Starting Grant project ACCELLENS (from 1/9/2027) and as a Fundación "la Caixa" Junior Leader fellow (from 31/12/2026). My team is part of the Simons Observatory and Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) collaborations. Previously, I was a postdoc at Berkeley for five years, followed by a three-month stint at IFAE, a PhD and M.A.St. (Master of Advanced Study) student at Cambridge, and an undergraduate at Columbia.
