Re: Decision of not attending the DIS2022 in person
by 于 毅
Dear Conveners,
Sorry, there is a typo in the previous email (remote instead of remove), which may cause some misunderstanding.
What I mean are:
1. I will try to find a collaborator to give the talk for the in-person-only meeting.
2. I would also ask if there is a chance to give the talk remotely.
Best
Yi Yu

Dear Conveners,
Thanks for the acceptance of the abstract "Measurement of longitudinal spin transfer of $\Lambda(\bar{\Lambda})$ hyperon in polarized p+p collisions at $\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV at RHIC-STAR" with ID #204 in track "WG5: Spin and 3D Structure" (Parallel talk).
Unfortunately, due to the covid19 pandemic travel constraint I can not attend the meeting in person.
Please remove my participation if possible.

Dear Tom and WG1 conveners,
Please find #373 abstract attached and we also find #54’s topic is very close, so it is possible to consider them together?
Thanks,
Qinghua for WG5

Hi Qinghua and Yoshiyuki,
The 3 abstracts sent by the WG1 conveners indeed look more relevant to us.
I guess we should take the 2 experimental abstracts.
I am not sure if I accept the theory abstract #162, though. We can say we
will consider this, but we may reject it in the end.
QInghua, can you prepare a PDF file for the abstract #373 to be sent to the
WG1 conveners?
I don't know where you can get it.

Dear WG1 conveners.
There are 10 abstracts jointly submitted to WG1 and WG5 at DIS2022. Among
them we think #141 and #237 are worth considering for your WG. Also, #373
has been submitted solely to WG5, but we do not see much connection to
"spin and 3D". It might be more relevant to WG1?
We are in a difficult situation where we have to reject almost 40% of the
abstracts, so we would appreciate if you could accept at least one of them
(especially #141).

Incapability to present my talk on site and application for a online talk
by 宋玉坤
Dear WG5 conveners,
thank you for the acceptance of our abstract of "Longitudinal and transverse polarizations of $\Lambda$ hyperon in unpolarized SIDIS and $e^+ e^-$ annihilation" with ID #49.
Due to the stringent constraints on international travelling from China to other contries, and several weeks in quarantine after returning to our institute, I am sadly incapable of attending the conference in person and presenting the talk on site. Other collaborators are also located in China and we have the same problem.
With respect to this situation, I would like to apply for the opportunity to present the talk online. I am looking forward to your kind reponse.
Best Regards,
Yukun Song
