DIS 2022 - Participation online?
by Sooraj Radhakrishnan
Dear Organizers,
My abstract has been accepted for a parallel talk
["Studying Gluon Distributions and Hadronization with Heavy Flavor
Production at the Future Electron Ion Collider" with ID #427 has been
accepted in track "WG4: QCD with Heavy Flavours and Hadronic Final States"
(Parallel talk)]
I do plan to attend the conference in person. But I need to apply for a
visa and given the covid situation, not sure if it will be delayed. In case
I am unable to attend in person, is there.a possibility to present my talk
online? Also, for the purpose of visa application, can I get an invitation
letter from the conference organizers?
thanks
Sooraj

Asunto: [Dis2022-registration] Limited International Travel to DIS2022
Dear DIS2022 Organizers,
I am a contributor who will give a parallel talk in the WG6: Future Experiments. (Title: 3D Nucleon Structure with SoLID, Speaker: Chao Peng)
However, due to our lab policy, it is extremely difficult for me to attend the meeting in person. Would there be an option to virtually participate in the meeting?
Thank you,
Chao

Conference registration
by Chemeck Slowik
Hello,
I'm trying to pay for the DIS2022: XXIX International Workshop on
Deep-Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects conference registration for
one of our professors. My credit card has been declined - see the attached.
I contacted the Bank of America about this issue and they told me that your
system uses a payment code for Taxes - and that type of charge is not
allowed on my University credit card. Could you please change the code of
the payment so it's not related to Taxes, but to a conference registration?
Thank you,
Chemeck

Registration payment DIS2022
by Efrain Patrick Segarra
Hi,
I recently registered for DIS 2022, also requesting student financial support. It seems I registered successfully, but unsure where the payment page is at? Perhaps this is available after my request for support is addressed?
Thanks,

Problems with visiting Spain from Russia
by Andrei Prokhorov
Dear DIS2022 organizers!
I recently received a letter confirming my talk in DIS2022 and asking me to inform about my in person participation at the conference (ID #369 of my talk in WG4 parallel session).
Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to visit the Spain from Russia (for me and my co-authors) because of the tragic events last weeks followed by serious issues with international travelling from Russia.
But if you have the opportunity to hold a conference partially online, then I would like to present the talk online.
Should I withdraw my talk? Or should I wait for a decision on the format of the conference?
Best regards,
Andrei Prokhorov
