Ask for my registration payment
by Michael Sanhueza
Hello there,
I was accepted for the registration of your DIS2022 event.
I want to pay the registration fee. I requested a 50% reduction of the
registration, but I have not received a response.
I want to know how much money do I have to pay, 430 or 215 Euros?
Thank you very much,

Question on Abstract status
by sunzd
Dear LOC,
My name is Zhandong Sun from the University of Debrecen in Hungary. I
work in PHENIX experiment.
I am sorry to bother you.
I am writing to ask about my abstract status.
Apologize if I missed your email, but it seems that I haven't get any
email about the acceptance of my abstract.
Since the deadline for early bird registration is approaching, may I ask
about the status of my abstract ? so that I could decide what to do
next.
Thank you very much.
Have a nice weekend !
With best regards,
Zhandong Sun

payment in case of financial support application
by Annalena Kalteyer
Dear DIS organisers,
I have registered for DIS 2022 and I applied for the financial support for students. I received the email that my registration is done and that I applied for the financial support. However, I have not received any confirmation yet. I assume that the payment has to be fulfilled until the 22nd of March for the early registration. Now I was wondering how to proceed with the payment. Should I pay the full fee and in case I get a financial support 50% is refunded or should I pay the 50% and in case I do not get the financial support I pay the second 50% later?
Thank you very much for clarifying this for me.
I am very much looking forward to the conference.
Kind regards,
Annalena Kalteyer

Re: Possibility of presenting a parallel talk remotely
by ARMESTO PEREZ NESTOR
Dear Yang-Ting,
While I perfectly understand concerns about the war, war is ~3000 km from here. I am sure you have been closer to a war than this.
After examining the situation at the end of early registration (which will be extended for a week), we will see how many people cannot come by travel restrictions and decide how to deal with it.
I really hope that you are able to attend. Your presence would be most valuable for the conference! On the exact dates of your talk, I do not think that it has already been decided but parallels will run Tuesday to Thursday. The WG conveners can provide further information.
Best regards
Nestor

Asunto: [Dis2022-registration] Possibility of presenting a parallel talk remotely
Dear DIS organizers,
Thank you very much for accepting the abstract "Probing hadronization with flavor correlations of leading particles in jets" we submitted for WG4: QCD with Heavy Flavours and Hadronic Final States. Viewing the international tension and uncertainty caused by the Ukraine-Russia war, I have concerns traveling long distance to Europe from the US and am wondering if there is a possibility of presenting our work remotely, even if the DIS conference may be held in-person. Also, I would like to know the planned date of my session so that I can take it into account when I make a decision about travel. Please let me know and I will really appreciate it.
Thank you and best regards,
Yang-Ting
