The conference site and accommodation will be at Hotel Louxo, Illa de A Toxa, Galicia, Spain, a nice spa resort by the sea in the north-western coast of the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel is located in an island, A Toxa, joined to the continent by a bridge, in the middle of one of the Galician 'rias' surrounded by a very beautiful natural environment. A small village, O Grove, is within walking distance. The distance to Santiago de Compostela, end of the Pilgrim's Way and World Heritage, is about 75 km.

There are four possibilities to arrive by plane
Santiago de Compostela (SCQ). Located 90 km away from the Conference hotel. This is the largest airport in Galice but most of the long-distance international connections are done via Madrid or Barcelona. For intra-european trips, low-cost companies to several cities exist. A conference bus will be arranged for the first and the last days of the meeting if required.
Vigo (VGO). Located 70 km away from the Conference hotel. This is a smaller airport but with some international flights which could be convenient for long-distance international connections.
Porto (OPO) (Portugal). Located 200 km away from the Conference hotel. This is the second airport in Portugal and the largest of the four listed here but car rental will be needed.
A Coruña (LCG). Located 150 km away from the Conference hotel. This is also a smaller airport but with some international flights which could be convenient for long-distance international connections.
