Ciencia Singular commemorates its 10th anniversary by bringing cutting-edge research at USC to the public

The Network of Unique Research Centers of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) commemorates on Saturday, October 24, the 10th anniversary of Ciencia Singular , the open day that has brought the cutting-edge scientific work carried out at the USC to thousands of people since 2017. This initiative celebrates a decade of offering citizens the opportunity to learn up close about the work carried out by hundreds of researchers in fields such as chemistry, smart technologies, molecular medicine, particle physics or environmental technologies, discovering the practical application of scientific knowledge and its relevance for society.

Through interactive workshops, experiments, guided tours and informative talks, aimed at audiences over 6 years old, Ciencia Singular aims to convey to citizens the importance of the research that is carried out in these reference centers, promote interest in science and awaken scientific vocations from an early age.
