Scientific Advisory Board (SAB)

The IGFAE is assisted by an external Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), composed of internationally recognised experts in different fields of physics. The SAB monitors and analyses the evolution of the scientific objectives and ranks the IGFAE’s performance, scientific programmes and research staff, as well as new affiliations.

The last SAB meetings were held in 2024, 2022, 2021, and 2019.

Scientific Committee (SC)

This group is composed of scientific staff included in the EB and representatives of each research programme. It advises the IGFAE management on the centre’s scientific strategy and its implementation and recruitment policies, as well as serving as a channel of communication between the management and staff of the centre:
