Dear Yang-Ting,
While I perfectly understand concerns about the war, war is ~3000 km from here. I am sure
you have been closer to a war than this.
After examining the situation at the end of early registration (which will be extended for
a week), we will see how many people cannot come by travel restrictions and decide how to
deal with it.
I really hope that you are able to attend. Your presence would be most valuable for the
conference! On the exact dates of your talk, I do not think that it has already been
decided but parallels will run Tuesday to Thursday. The WG conveners can provide further
information.
Best regards
Nestor

Asunto: [Dis2022-registration] Possibility of presenting a parallel talk remotely
Dear DIS organizers,
Thank you very much for accepting the abstract "Probing hadronization with flavor
correlations of leading particles in jets" we submitted for WG4: QCD with Heavy
Flavours and Hadronic Final States. Viewing the international tension and uncertainty
caused by the Ukraine-Russia war, I have concerns traveling long distance to Europe from
the US and am wondering if there is a possibility of presenting our work remotely, even if
the DIS conference may be held in-person. Also, I would like to know the planned date of
my session so that I can take it into account when I make a decision about travel. Please
let me know and I will really appreciate it.
Thank you and best regards,
Yang-Ting
