The III International Postgraduate Meeting on Fundamental Physics, which will be held this year in Santiago de Compostela on 6-7 of November, succeeds the Madrid (II) and Barcelona (I) encounters. The encounter is conceived as a friendly meeting for young postdoctoral and predoctoral students in interdisciplinary talks on fundamental physics, giving them the possibility of presenting their work at their respective institutions, sharing knowledge and establishing future long-life academic friendships.
The aim of the meeting, organized by students of the Particle Physics Department of the host institution, is to let the speakers present their works in a distended environment, prioritizing discussions and interactions, in talks of 25 minutes followed by 5 minutes of discussion.
Covered topics in theoretical physics span string theory, strong coupling, integrability, high energy phenomenology, supersymmetry, gravitation, cosmology and any other related to fundamental physics and its applications.
Meeting will take place in the Faculty of Physics of the University of Santiago de Compostela on the days 6 and 7 of November of 2014. There are a limited number of accommodation fundings in Hotel San Martiño Pinario in the middle of the old town, just in front of Santiago's Cathedral.
