DIS2022: for participants who cannot attend in person
by ARMESTO PEREZ NESTOR
Dear colleagues,
You have expressed interest in participating in DIS2022 but face large difficulties to attend in person due to the COVID situation. While we still encourage you to try to attend in person if it becomes possible, we have decided to open the possibility of online participation in a limited number of cases such as yours.
Those who have not done yet, please register at the conference web page https://indico.cern.ch/event/1072533/, indicating in the comments that you will participate online. Those who have registered, please send an email to dis2022-registration(a)igfae.usc.es indicating that you want to attend online. The conference fee for you will be 200 EUR until the early registration deadline, Friday April 8th 2022, and 250 EUR between April 9th and April 25th. The fee will be used to cover the cost of the meeting rooms and the technical requirements for online participation.
Best regards
Nestor for the LPC

Re: [DIS2022_wg1] Additional session WG1 and WG6
by Klaus Rabbertz
Dear WG6 conveners,
have you come to a conclusion concerning our proposal?
I fear we have to conclude on this rather quickly now.
Thank you and best regards,
Klaus (for WG1 conveners - Tom, Klaus, Barak)

I would also note that currently in WG1 we are occupying one room for the whole of the timetabled parallel sessions, therefore this additional joint session would be parallel to one of our sessions and in addition to WG6's current sessions I believe. We would organise our timetable to ensure the overlapping topics were not of mutual interest.

Additional session WG1 and WG6

Dear WG6 conveners,
Following Nestor's hard work to obtain an additional room and confirmation we can accept a few additional talks for joint sessions earlier today, we are emailing to return to your idea of a joint session between WG1 and WG6 on future experiments. We would propose to include the following talks in this session (some of which we currently only had room for as posters):
62, 344, 361, 386 and also 331("Studying nuclear matter with jets in the sPHENIX experiment at RHIC") and 67 ("Probing free nucleons with (anti)neutrinos") , the first four were all jointly submitted to our WGs originally whilst the latter two were submitted to WG1 on this topic, therefore I include the titles for those two.

We would organise our timetable to ensure the overlapping topics were not of mutual interest.
Many thanks,
