Dear Nestor,
Just to confirm that the posters will be in person participation only, right? Now there
are >30 abstracts not accepted as oral talks in WG5, so we need to check with each
whether they will be available for in person poster or not.
Thanks,
Qinghua for WG5

Dear all,
The way in which I have handled abstracts submitted to several working groups is the
following: if an abstract is submitted to N working groups, it contributes 1/N to the
counting of of abstracts of each WG.
My idea for handling submissions to several working groups is the following: WG1, WG2,
WG3, WG4, WG5, WG6 accept 53, 36, 42, 44, 41 and 44 abstracts, respectively. Then,
abstracts of any of the involved WGs could contact the conveners of the other WG if they
find that an asbtract lies truly in the common interests of both working groups. Common
sessions are not a must, btw.
I remember that we have, for the moment, 8 slots of 5 (20') talks and 2 slots of 6
(20') talks, times 5 rooms. The 53 talks of WG1 would occuppy one of the rooms full
time, (adjusting 20' makes no difference), WG2 7, WG3 and WG5 8, WG3 and WG6 9,
roughly speaking.
On posters, I would set an upper limit of 60. I suggest 12, 8, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10 in
WG1...WG6.
Best
Nestor

Dear Nestor,
Thanks for collecting these numbers. I checked those related with WG5 and confirm your
numbers are consistent with my counting. I have a question though on the last column
#talks per WG. For example, it is 40.6 for WG5, how is that number estimated? Does it
include just those with WG5 only (57 in total) or also those with overlaps?
Thanks,
Qinghua

per talk, we can accommodate 52 X 5 rooms =260 talks. If the final number of assitants is
not large, maybe I could find a smaller room for 52 additional talks, but we should not
count on it for the moment.
