Dear WG3 conveners,
I wrote to you two weeks ago about presenting my accepted talk as a talk
online (see my email and the email from Nestor below). Can you please
confirm at your earliest convenience? Please note that I am in the US so
this would need to be scheduled as an afternoon talk (in the sessions after
lunch).

*Subject:* Re: DIS2022 online talk in WG3
Dear WG3 conveners,
My abstract ID:88 on "Higher-order corrections in tqγ production" was
accepted for a parallel talk in WG3.
I recently notified the DIS 2022 LPC that due to covid-related reasons I
will not be able to attend the conference in person and that I would like
to attend and present my talks virtually. I received a positive response
from Nestor for the LPC (see below) that mine was one of a limited number
of cases where this would be possible.
Therefore, I have now registered for DIS 2022 and ask that you schedule my
talk as an online talk. Since I am in the USA (EDT), it would need to be an
afternoon talk (local conference time). Please confirm at your earliest
convenience and let me know if you need any additional information.
Best regards,

*Subject:* DIS2022: for participants who cannot attend in person
Dear colleagues,
You have expressed interest in participating in DIS2022 but face large
difficulties to attend in person due to the COVID situation. While we still
encourage you to try to attend in person if it becomes possible, we have
decided to open the possibility of online participation in a limited number
of cases such as yours.
Those who have not done yet, please register at the conference web page
https://indico.cern.ch/event/1072533/, indicating in the comments that
you will participate online. Those who have registered, please send an
email to dis2022-registration(a)igfae.usc.es indicating that you want to
attend online. The conference fee for you will be 200 EUR until the early
registration deadline, Friday April 8th 2022, and 250 EUR between April
9th and April 25th. The fee will be used to cover the cost of the meeting
rooms and the technical requirements for online participation.
Best regards
Nestor for the LPC
