Dear Nestor,
as for as WG4 is concerned: we have already to evaluate among other
abstracts submitted by CMS. However, I have to say that the latter two
I see below from you are not less interesting than the ones we already
have (in other words, it might also be that they are more interesting,
even considering the program we have in mind and the abstracts submitted by
other participants). Therefore I suggest you to keep them in standby. Let
us think about them.
In any case, we will not have space for all CMS abstracts and we will
have to reject various ones. But these last two are not worse than the
others. So, if it is for us, I would suggest you to wait, before giving
any negative answer to this last-minute submission.

correspond to your WGs. In principle my answer would be simply not accepting them as CMS
had plenty of
time, already 13 days have passed since the extended deadline for abstracts. But it may

these abstracts contain material the conference should not miss. They look to me as
updates of existing
analysis but I may miss something.
So please indicate me if you think they contain essential material for the conference and
should be
considered, or not.

Dear DIS organizers,
two CMS abstracts are ready after the abstract submission deadline.
I would like to ask you to consider also this late abstracts.
The abstracts are:
1) Measurements of jet substructure using the CMS detector
The internal structure of jets allows us to bridge our description and understanding of
short-distance
physics and color confinement. In this talk, we discuss recent measurements of jet
substructure performed
using data collected by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy of √s=13 TeV.
Measurements of
various jet substructure observables, with and without jet grooming, are presented. The
measurements are
corrected for detector effects and are compared to predictions based on state-of-the-art
analytical
calculations and Monte Carlo event generators.
2) Latest top quark measurements with the CMS detector
The most recent results on top quark physics, obtained using data collected with the CMS
experiment at
5.02 and 13 TeV center-of-mass energies, are presented.
