some remarks
by ARMESTO PEREZ NESTOR
Dear all,
Just three things:
- The timetable should be finished asap. I plan to send a final bulletin tomorrow and one of the items ask the speakers to check the times of their talks.
- Can you provide me with a list of posters per WG? In the general list there maybe some ones that you know they will not be presented.
- Please inform me how each WG will organise to give the summary talks on Friday 6th. For those WGs in which no one is in person at the site, the local contact might give the talk if you prefer although, of course, it can be done online.
Best regards
Nestor

Hi,
Please tell me which talks I should put into the joint session, for you to place in the block. WG3 sent me four that I have already set as WG3+WG4,
#129 "New physics results with the CMS Precision Proton Spectrometer" speaker: Enrico Robutti (Univ. di Genova e Sez. dell'INFN)
#135 "Search for new resonances in the photon and jet final state using CMS data" speaker: Varun Sharma (Univ. of Wisconsin)
#480 "Searches for rare top quark production and decay processes with the ATLAS experiment", Marcos Miralles Lopez, marcos.miralles.lopez(a)cern.ch
#484 "Search for rare and exotic decays of the Higgs boson and additional scalar particles in ATLAS", Diallo Boye, diallo.boye(a)cern.ch

Dear Nestor, dear Maria, dear all,
I have been trying to schedule the WG3 top talks so that they are at
least in the schedule for now. However, in contrast to in the pure WG3
session, I could not choose among the accepted abstracts but it rather
seemed that I had to implement the whole contribution again. I am
pretty sure that this is not the right way, however, I am not sure
whether I just did something wrong and did not find the right button
or whether there is still something missing that would allow the
inclusion of the abstracts.
If anyone knows how to solve the issue, please let me know.
Best wishes,

Re: [DIS2022_wg4] Re: DIS 2022: Combined session of WG 3 and WG 4?
by Heidi Rzehak
Dear Nestor, dear Maria, dear all,
I have been trying to schedule the WG3 top talks so that they are at
least in the schedule for now. However, in contrast to in the pure WG3
session, I could not choose among the accepted abstracts but it rather
seemed that I had to implement the whole contribution again. I am
pretty sure that this is not the right way, however, I am not sure
whether I just did something wrong and did not find the right button
or whether there is still something missing that would allow the
inclusion of the abstracts.
If anyone knows how to solve the issue, please let me know.
Best wishes,
Heidi

Re: [DIS2022_wg4] Re: DIS 2022: Combined session of WG 3 and WG 4?
by ARMESTO PEREZ NESTOR
Dear all,
I have created a new session WG3+WG4, with a block on Wednesday afternnon, from 15.00 to 19.00 with a coffee break in the middle. I hope to have given the right permissions to you all.
Best regards

Asunto: Re: [DIS2022_wg4] Re: DIS 2022: Combined session of WG 3 and WG 4?
Ok. Summarizing: it is intention to organize a joint parallel session of
WG3+WG4 on wednesday afternoon for "Top-quark physics: new theoretical
and experimental results".
The permissions are needed to both the WG3 and WG4 to edit the calendar.
Nestor, can you please allocate the session and the correct permissions
in indico, so that all conveners of WG3 and WG4 can edit and fill it ?
The session will start at the beginning of the afternoon and probably
include nine talks. It will be followed by stanadard parallel sessions.
It will also be perhaps a good idea to have a large room, since this
this is joint. Any suggestion in this respect ?

Dear Organizers,
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately for some reasons, I think I will not be able to join the
conference. I guess no co-author would be available to be there in
person, either.
I am really sorry for this. Hopefully in next DIS I will be part of the
conference and present my result.
Thanks for your understanding. I really appreciate it.
I wish you a successful conference !

title abstract/contribution #265 in WG3
by Alain Bellerive
Dear WG3: Electroweak Physics and Beyond the Standard Model conveners,
Please update the title of my ATLAS contribution to "Recent observation and
measurements of vector-boson fusion and scattering with ATLAS".
Add "fusion" in the title. This is for abstract/contribution #265.
Thank you, Alain

DIS2022: final remarks
by ARMESTO PEREZ NESTOR
Dear conveners,
Just a few final remarks:
1. Please tell me who is attending in person and who is not. In any case, please all register (I see right now only 12 of you registered, and 3 indicated online). Do not pay (one person has paid, I will try to give back the registration but it will not be immediate).
2. Please fill the timetable, even if later changes appear. I need it to define the coffeee breaks, lunches and make adjustements to the social program if required.
3. Please note of the WG summaries, 25' each, on Friday. I need information on who is going to present them for each WG, note that local contacts can help in case no convener of a given WG is in person. In the summaries, I recommend that you simply highlight results instead of the impossible task to try to summarise the contributions.
Best regards
Nestor

Dear DIS Organizers, Dear Nestor,
could you please inform me if the abstract of the
student I'm co-advising, Zhandong Sun (Debrecen University)
is accepted - or when will your final decision be made?
With the conference less than four weeks away
things are getting real tight at Debrecen. Zhandong is
not an EU citizen; also, the administration related to
his trip from Hungary to Spain also takes some time.
Your response is highly appreciated!

ATLAS talk on Recent observation and measurements of vector-boson scattering with ATLAS (abstract 265)
by Alain Bellerive
Dear DIS Organizers and WG3 conveners,
I was selected by the ATLAs Collaboration to give the talk "Recent
observation and measurements of vector-boson scattering with ATLAS" in the
WG3 Electroweak parallel session at DIS2022. It is abstract #265.
See: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1072533/contributions/4767044/
I wonder if it is possible to present this contribution remotely with a
virtual tool supported by the conference?
I am still not certain of being able to travel from Canada to Spain.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Alain
