DIS2022: for participants who cannot attend in person

Dear colleagues, You have expressed interest in participating in DIS2022 but face large difficulties to attend in person due to the COVID situation. While we still encourage you to try to attend in person if it becomes possible, we have decided to open the possibility of online participation in a limited number of cases such as yours. Those who have not done yet, please register at the conference web page https://indico.cern.ch/event/1072533/, indicating in the comments that you will participate online. Those who have registered, please send an email to dis2022-registration(a)igfae.usc.es indicating that you want to attend online. The conference fee for you will be 200 EUR until the early registration deadline, Friday April 8th 2022, and 250 EUR between April 9th and April 25th. The fee will be used to cover the cost of the meeting rooms and the technical requirements for online participation. Due to the current serious COVID situation is Shanghai, China, I will not be able to attend the conference in person. The city has recently begun the lock-down, and a domestic workshop even in late May is already switched to the remote style to give you an idea of the situation. I would love to give the talk even remotely. If this is not allowed by any chance, I will need to ask another CMS colleague to give it instead. Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately my university requires for reimbursement of this cost an official invoice, which must be directed to Fundación Universidad de las Américas Puebla RFC FUA851220CF0 The last number is the tax number which according to local rules is indispensable and must appear on that invoice.
