A publicaci\u00f3n abre o seu n\u00famero de marzo con este traballo e a <em>American Physical Society<\/em> publica na s\u00faa revista <em>Physics<\/em> un <a href=\"https:\/\/physics.aps.org\/synopsis-for\/10.1103\/PhysRevE.101.032301\">resumo divulgativo<\/a> do artigo conxuntamente cos seleccionados doutras publicaci\u00f3ns.<\/p>\n<p>Na investigaci\u00f3n est\u00fadase como se pode impedir a propagaci\u00f3n da infecci\u00f3n do pat\u00f3xeno Phytophora que ataca diversas plantas e \u00e1rbores, como chiles, aguacates, patacas, casti\u00f1eiros e eucaliptos. Os investigadores describen unha plantaci\u00f3n como unha rede 2D e modelan a transmisi\u00f3n da enfermidade como un proceso de filtraci\u00f3n. Logo, estudan como se move o pat\u00f3geno a trav\u00e9s da rede en funci\u00f3n da proporci\u00f3n inicial da infecci\u00f3n no chan e nas plantas, as\u00ed como a susceptibilidade de cada especie en cada situaci\u00f3n.\u00a0As\u00ed, p\u00f3dese calcular o n\u00famero m\u00ednimo de barreiras f\u00edsica ou biol\u00f3xicas necesarias para impedir a propagaci\u00f3n a toda a plantaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>As barreiras normalmente usadas son membranas impermeables de polietureno ou gabias con axentes biol\u00f3xicos de control. Para o c\u00e1lculo constru\u00edronse algoritmos baseados na teor\u00eda de percolaci\u00f3n que foi aplicada intensivamente no IGFAE a problemas de F\u00edsica de Part\u00edculas como a liberaci\u00f3n dos quarks e glu\u00f3ns de dentro das part\u00edculas elementais que son producidas nas colisi\u00f3ns de n\u00facleos pesados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Referencia:<\/strong> J.
