VELO U2 Workshop
The program of the workshop will cover the status of the various aspects of the R&D, from ASIC and sensors to the module design, mechanics and motion, vacuum aspects and RF-shield, as well as outline the timeline and the key technoilogical choices that will have to be done in the coming years. The workshop is planned to start on Wednesday 11th of June and continue till the Friday 13th of june. A complete timetable is being prepared and the sessions defined in the timetable section. EPS Young Minds Leadership Meeting
Santiago de Compostela hosts the 13th edition of the Young Minds Leadership Meeting, a two-day event which aims to bring together the representatives from the Young Minds Sections from the European Physical Society. The event will be a magnificent opportunity to get to know different students connected by outreach, delving into the emerging trends and challenges in Physics and gaining skills for our future in Academia through various Workshops. IGFAE will be one of the main sponsors, and will host two poster sessions on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th of June. Apart from this, Pablo Cabanelas (IGFAE KTI Manager) will be speaking in the round table PhD to CEO (Thursday 5, 16.15) and Meijian Li (postdoc) will be giving a talk on Friday 6th (10.30h) |

Strong coupling estimates of bulk viscosity in compact stars
Estimating the value of bulk viscosity in neutron stars is crucial to determine the damping of oscillations and gravitational wave emission in pulsars and binary mergers. The main contribution originates from weak processes through beta equilibration rates and depends both on the equation of state and weak equilibration rates. We use symmetry arguments in the form of Ward identities to derive general formulas for weak equilibration rates in terms of spectral functions of flavor currents. We then apply the general formulas to obtain the temperature dependence of weak rates and the bulk viscosity in strongly coupled quark matter using a holographic model. We compare the values obtained from the holographic model with perturbative estimates and with the bulk viscosity of pure QCD contribution at strong coupling. |

CSS in CGC: making sense of longitudinal resolution vs longitudinal momentum fraction in high energy evolution
I explain how observables of the type of gluon Transverse Momentum Dependent Distributions can be calculated in the high energy evolution approach, a.k.a. JIMWLK evolution. For those observables the evolution parameter plays the role of the longitudinal resolution and not the longitudinal momentum fraction of the gluons observed. |

Symmetry-Resolved Entanglement in AdS & BCFT
I will discuss recent new examples providing new links between quantum information, holography and quantum gravity. I will first introduce a refinement of the usual entanglement entropy for theories with global conserved charges, the so-called symmetry resolved entanglement entropy, and discuss its implementation in AdS3/CFT2 (2012.11274, 2108.09210). I will in particular discuss the structure of entanglement in different charge sectors, which turns out trivial in theories with U(1) Kac-Moody symmetry. This property is called equipartition of entanglement. I will then discuss how W3 symmetric CFTs (2202.11111) break this equipartition property. Finally, I will present recent work (2212.09767) which employs boundary conformal field theory techniques to obtain exact results for the symmetry-resolved entanglement and in particular for the equipartition property in U(1) Kac-Moody symmetric CFTs. |
