{"id":13122,"date":"2023-03-20T09:50:53","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T07:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/~igfae-old\/veronica-villa-ortega-investigadora-predoctoral-do-igfae-gana-o-ligo-student-poster-prize\/"},"modified":"2023-04-26T14:55:36","modified_gmt":"2023-04-26T12:55:36","slug":"veronica-villa-ortega-investigadora-predoctoral-do-igfae-gana-o-ligo-student-poster-prize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/~igfae-old\/es\/veronica-villa-ortega-investigadora-predoctoral-do-igfae-gana-o-ligo-student-poster-prize\/","title":{"rendered":"Ver\u00f3nica Villa Ortega, investigadora predoctoral del IGFAE, gana el LIGO Student Poster Prize"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.northwestern.edu\/lvk2023ciera\/\">colaboraci\u00f3n LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA entreg\u00f3 en su reuni\u00f3n<\/a> celebrada la semana pasada en Chicago el premio al mejor p\u00f3ster presentado por una estudiante a Ver\u00f3nica Villa Ortega, investigadora predoctoral en el programa de ondas gravitacionales del Instituto Galego de F\u00edsica de Altas Enerx\u00edas (IGFAE).<\/p>\n<p>Con el t\u00edtulo <em>Rapid Estimation of Binary Source Properties via Post-Newtonian Parameter Space<\/em>, el trabajo de Ver\u00f3nica Villa ha sido ha sido el ganador en la categor\u00eda \u201can\u00e1lisis de datos\/teor\u00eda\u201d de entre las 80 propuestas presentadas.<\/p>\n<p>Tras graduarse en F\u00edsica en la Universidad de Valladolid y obtener el m\u00e1ster en f\u00edsica, con especializaci\u00f3n en f\u00edsica nuclear y de part\u00edculas en la USC, Ver\u00f3nica est\u00e1 realizando su tesis doctoral en el IGFAE bajo la direcci\u00f3n del investigador Thomas Dent.
