{"id":8236,"date":"2020-11-12T14:50:05","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:50:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfaedb\/?p=8236"},"modified":"2021-03-24T15:04:03","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T13:04:03","slug":"prizes-communication-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfaedb\/prizes-communication-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Prizes of the 3rd Science Communication Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The juries of the<a href=\"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfaedb\/c3-2020\/\"> III Science Communication Competition<\/a> of the Galician Institute of High Energy Physics (IGFAE) announced yesterday the winners of this edition in a virtual awards ceremony that could be followed live on YouTube and in which the authors participated.<\/p>\n<p>Winner in the category &#8220;<strong>outreach articles<\/strong>&#8220;:\u00a0<a style=\"font-size: 1rem;\" href=\"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfaedb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Joaquin_Ferreyra-Un-perezoso-entre-nobles.pdf\">Un perezoso entre nobles,<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> by<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">\u00a0Joaqu\u00edn Ferreyra.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Winner in the category \u201c<strong>outreach videos<\/strong>\u201d: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QuiLJlxUbOY\">De turismo por el universo: un viaje at\u00f3mico a las estrellas<\/a>, by Daniel Fern\u00e1ndez Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QuiLJlxUbOY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Winner in the category &#8220;<strong>scientific monologues<\/strong>&#8220;: not\u00a0awarded, declared void.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the category &#8220;experiments, demonstrations or web applications or for mobile devices&#8221;, corresponding to the II edition of the 2019 Scientific Communication Contest, was also announced. The award-winning work was <strong>\u201cMedindo a radiactividade do rad\u00f3n no noso instituto\u201d<\/strong>, carried out by a team from the IES de Sar.
