{"id":3462,"date":"2019-07-24T15:38:56","date_gmt":"2019-07-24T13:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/centrosingular\/?p=3462"},"modified":"2021-03-24T15:11:13","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T13:11:13","slug":"twepp-2019-2-6-september-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfaedb\/twepp-2019-2-6-september-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cTWEPP 2019\u201d, 2-6 September 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Topical Workshop on Electronics for Particle Physics (TWEPP 2019) will be held in the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Santiago de Compostela, from September 2nd to 6th, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The scientific <a href=\"https:\/\/indico.cern.ch\/event\/799025\/program\">program<\/a> focusses on all aspects of electronics for Particle Physics experiments, and accelerator instrumentation. LHC experiments (and their operational experience) remain a focal point of the meeting but a strong emphasis on R&amp;D for future experimentation will be maintained.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the conference\u00a0is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to present results and original concepts for electronic research and development relevant. to experiments as well as accelerator and beam instrumentation at future facilities.<\/li>\n<li>to review the status of electronics for the LHC experiments.<\/li>\n<li>to identify and encourage common efforts for the development of electronics.<\/li>\n<li>to promote information exchange and collaboration in the relevant engineering and physics communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Several renowned keynote speakers will give their view on new groundbreaking developments in this field. Additionally, researchers are invited to submit abstracts, based on which, a variety of presentations and poster sessions will be held.\u00a0A special 3 hours tutorial on \u201cDesign of Analog Circuits in Nanoscale CMOS\u201dwill be organized this year on Monday morning. The instructor will be Prof. B.
