A colaboraci\u00f3n entre a universidade e a empresa compostel\u00e1 abrir\u00e1 novos cami\u00f1os para afrontar desaf\u00edos clave no sector da microelectr\u00f3nica, destacando as li\u00f1as de investigaci\u00f3n que se expo\u00f1en nas \u00e1reas da Computaci\u00f3n no bordo, a Computaci\u00f3n en memoria, a Computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica e o avance en chips de vangarda para sistemas AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica e raios c\u00f3smicos<\/strong><\/h5>\n<div id=\"attachment_15438\" style=\"width: 292px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15438\" class=\"wp-image-15438 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/igfae-copia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/esquema-qmio-282x300.jpg\" alt=\"Esquema do experimento no que participar\u00e1 o IGFAE para estudar a influencia dos raios c\u00f3smicos nas infraestruturas de computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica. Cr\u00e9dito: CESGA \/ H\u00e9ctor \u00c1lvarez Pol.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Dentro desta colaboraci\u00f3n, a c\u00e1tedra reunir\u00e1 ao persoal investigador da USC m\u00e1is destacado neste \u00e1mbito. Neste equipo int\u00e9grase o investigador do IGFAE H\u00e9ctor \u00c1lvarez Pol, que coordinar\u00e1 a participaci\u00f3n en simulaci\u00f3n de circu\u00edtos de computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica e no estudo da influencia dos raios c\u00f3smicos nestas infraestruturas.<\/p>\n<p>Por unha banda, o persoal do IGFAE achegar\u00e1 a s\u00faa bagaxe cient\u00edfica en f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica para simular procesadores cu\u00e1nticos e estudar o seu comportamento en profundidade. Con este punto de partida, b\u00fascase mellorar o desenvolvemento de algoritmos e procesos que permitan aplicar a computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica a an\u00e1lises de datos experimentais e c\u00e1lculos te\u00f3ricos nas \u00e1reas da F\u00edsica de Altas Enerx\u00edas, Astrof\u00edsica e F\u00edsica Nuclear.<\/p>\n<p>Noutra li\u00f1a de traballo, e coa colaboraci\u00f3n do Centro de Supercomputaci\u00f3n de Galicia (CESGA), desenvolverase un experimento para o estudo da influencia dos raios c\u00f3smicos na infraestrutura de computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica. Estes ordenadores son extremadamente sensibles \u00e1s perturbaci\u00f3ns que limitan a capacidade de operar ou recoller os resultados dos seus procesos. Entre elas, destaca a radiaci\u00f3n ionizante dos raios c\u00f3smicos. Para isto, o experimento permitir\u00e1 estudar as correlaci\u00f3ns entre o paso da radiaci\u00f3n e o funcionamento dos ordenadores
