Este a\u00f1o, el IGFAE, el CiMUS, el CiQUS y el CiTIUS dar\u00e1n a conocer su labor investigadora con un formato completamente virtual y para todos los p\u00fablicos a trav\u00e9s de charlas divulgativas en directo, visitas virtuales, v\u00eddeos de proyectos destacados de cada centro y talleres de ciencia.<\/p>\n<p>Los detalles del programa pueden encontrarse en la web de la jornada: <a href=\"https:\/\/cienciasingular.usc.es\/\">cienciasingular.usc.es<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cambiando el mundo desde la escala molecular<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Qu\u00edmica es una de las herramientas m\u00e1s poderosas con las que cuenta la sociedad para afrontar los desaf\u00edos del siglo XXI. Cada d\u00eda, el compromiso de los investigadores del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usc.es\/ciqus\/es\">CiQUS<\/a> permite explorar nuevas aplicaciones en campos como la salud (Qu\u00edmica Biol\u00f3gica y M\u00e9dica), o la industria (Materiales Funcionales, Cat\u00e1lisis). En solo nueve a\u00f1os, el centro se ha consolidado como referente de investigaci\u00f3n interdisciplinaria en la frontera entre la Qu\u00edmica, la Biomedicina y la Ciencia de Materiales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas y medicina molecular<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usc.es\/cimus\/es\">CiMUS<\/a> trabaja en la prevenci\u00f3n, comprensi\u00f3n y tratamiento de las enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas en \u00e1reas como C\u00e1ncer, Endocrinolog\u00eda, Cardiovascular, Neurociencias, Gen\u00e9tica y Bioinform\u00e1tica, Nanomedicina o Desarrollo de F\u00e1rmacos. Junto con el Hospital Cl\u00ednico Universitario de Santiago, el centro est\u00e1 integrado en el IDIS, un Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria acreditado por el Ministerio de Sanidad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tecnolog\u00edas inteligentes, beneficio social<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El <a href=\"https:\/\/citius.usc.es\/\">CiTIUS<\/a> trabaja en el desarrollo de una nueva generaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas inteligentes que integren la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en los diferentes niveles existentes entre el mundo f\u00edsico y el cognitivo. El objetivo es tirar provecho de las potencialidades de la IA en la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas cada vez m\u00e1s complejos y ponerla al servicio de las personas, garantizando la trasparencia y la confiabilidad. Entre sus m\u00faltiples aplicaciones figuran campos como la salud, la industria, el transporte o las ciudades inteligentes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IGFAE, en la \u00e9lite de la investigaci\u00f3n internacional en F\u00edsica<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Instituto Galego de F\u00edsica de Altas Enerx\u00edas (IGFAE) es un centro acreditado como Unidad de Excelencia Mar\u00eda de Maeztu cuyas \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n intentan dar respuesta a muchas de las preguntas esenciales de la naturaleza f\u00edsica: el estudio de la realidad microsc\u00f3pica a nivel fundamental (Modelo Est\u00e1ndar), la conexi\u00f3n entre f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas y cosmolog\u00eda, y la estructura nuclear y las aplicaciones m\u00e9dicas.
