{"id":19467,"date":"2025-01-20T09:39:26","date_gmt":"2025-01-20T08:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/?p=19467"},"modified":"2025-08-19T15:47:41","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T13:47:41","slug":"o-igfae-integrase-na-rede-micronanospain-para-o-deseno-e-fabricacion-de-chips-semicondutores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/es\/o-igfae-integrase-na-rede-micronanospain-para-o-deseno-e-fabricacion-de-chips-semicondutores\/","title":{"rendered":"O IGFAE int\u00e9grase na rede MicroNanoSpain para o dese\u00f1o e fabricaci\u00f3n de chips semicondutores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>O Instituto Galego de F\u00edsica de Altas Enerx\u00edas (IGFAE), centro mixto da USC e a Xunta de Galicia, contribuir\u00e1 nos vindeiros anos \u00e1 rede MicroNanoSpain, un proxecto para fortalecer o dese\u00f1o e fabricaci\u00f3n de chips e semicondutores no \u00e1mbito espa\u00f1ol e europeo.<\/p>\n<p>Nesta iniciativa participar\u00e1n 25 universidades e centros de investigaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ois, xunto \u00e1 industria dos semicondutores, co obxectivo de mellorar as capacidades, competencias e innovaci\u00f3n deste sector, esencial para un amplo abano de necesidades na sociedade actual, e cr\u00edtico pola dependencia de terceiros pa\u00edses que actualmente experimenta a Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n<p>MicroNanoSpain acaba de obter oito mill\u00f3ns de euros por parte da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chips-ju.europa.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU)<\/a>, unha entidade europea na que forman parte a Comisi\u00f3n Europea, os estados membros e a industria. O obxectivo desta li\u00f1a de financiamento \u00e9 desenvolver en cada pa\u00eds un Centro de Competencia en Dese\u00f1o de Chips, para facilitar a contribuci\u00f3n de empresas e centros de investigaci\u00f3n \u00a0a este sector.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, a alianza constru\u00edda arredor de MicroNanoSpain, formada por referentes nacionais e internacionais neste campo, aglutinar\u00e1 o co\u00f1ecemento, capacidades e servizos para compartilo co tecido industrial do sector, desempe\u00f1ando un papel fundamental no reforzo do ecosistema europeo de innovaci\u00f3n no eido dos semicondutores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A contribuci\u00f3n do IGFAE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O IGFAE conta, desde a s\u00faa creaci\u00f3n, cun equipo de referencia en toda a cadea de produci\u00f3n de detectores semicondutores, derivada da s\u00faa presenza no dese\u00f1o e construci\u00f3n de instrumentaci\u00f3n para grandes instalaci\u00f3ns internacionais, como o experimento LHCb do CERN.<\/p>\n<p>Neste marco, o persoal do Instituto conta con amplos co\u00f1ecementos e capacidades no dese\u00f1o microelectr\u00f3nico e mec\u00e1nico, a montaxe de compo\u00f1entes, os sistemas de adquisici\u00f3n de datos, verificaci\u00f3n, c\u00e1lculo e computaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>A presenza do IGFAE en MicroNanoSpain e outros consorcios verase ademais reforzada pola ampliaci\u00f3n da sede do centro, que aumentar\u00e1 notablemente a superficie e os recursos destinados aos laboratorios experimentais e de instrumentaci\u00f3n, que son clave para a proxecci\u00f3n internacional do Instituto.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Sobre o IGFAE<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>O\u00a0Instituto Galego de F\u00edsica de Altas Enerx\u00edas (IGFAE), \u00e9 un centro de investigaci\u00f3n creado en 1999 pola Universidade de Santiago de Compostela e a Xunta de Galicia. Naceu co obxectivo de coordinar e fomentar a investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica e t\u00e9cnica nos campos da F\u00edsica de Alta Enerx\u00eda, Part\u00edculas e Nuclear, e \u00e1reas relacionadas como a Astrof\u00edsica, a F\u00edsica M\u00e9dica ou a Instrumentaci\u00f3n. Acolle a arredor de 140 persoas que participan en instalaci\u00f3ns experimentais como o CERN, o Observatorio Pierre Auger, LIGO ou GSI\/FAIR, entre outras.<\/p>\n<p>O centro foi acreditado en d\u00faas ocasi\u00f3ns (2017 e 2023) como Unidade de Excelencia Mar\u00eda de Maeztu por parte da Axencia Estatal de Investigaci\u00f3n do Goberno de Espa\u00f1a. Tam\u00e9n forma parte da rede CIGUS da Xunta de Galicia, que acredita a calidade e o impacto da s\u00faa investigaci\u00f3n.
