Garz<\/span><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Ninguno\">\u00f3<\/span><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Ninguno\">n <\/span><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Ninguno\">Heydt<\/span><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Ninguno\">, comenz<\/span><span data-ccp-charstyle=\"Ninguno\">\u00f3 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">a d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">esarrollar una nueva generaci\u00f3n de detectores, denominados Trasgos, para el estudio permanente de los rayos c\u00f3smicos mediante dispositivos instalados en tierra.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>A diferencia de las t<span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00e9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">cnicas existentes, basadas principalmente en la medida de neutrones y muones, esos dispositivos ofrecen, entre otras caracter\u00ed<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">sticas, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">una gran granularidad que le permite la medida simult\u00e1nea de muchas part\u00edculas, la capacidad de separar muones y electrones mediante t\u00e9cnicas de software y una estimaci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda electromagn<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00e9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">tica depositada en el detector.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;134245417&quot;:true,&quot;134245418&quot;:false,&quot;134245529&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:1,&quot;335551620&quot;:1,&quot;335559685&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:0,&quot;335559737&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Hasta ahora se han construido cuatro Trasgos, dedicados a diferentes \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n, como el estudio de la actividad solar, la muograf\u00eda de contenedores y a diversos estudios geomagn<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00e9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ticos y atmosf<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00e9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ricos. La nueva generaci\u00f3n de detectores, presentada en la reuni\u00f3n de Santiago por Juan A.
