Xunto co IGFAE, organizador do encontro, membros do Centro de Investigaci\u00f3ns Enerx\u00e9ticas, Ambientais e Tecnol\u00f3xicas (CIEMAT), o Instituto de F\u00edsica Corpuscular (IFIC), a Universidade de Granada e a Universidade de Vigo puxeron en com\u00fan o traballo realizado nos detectores do experimento, dese\u00f1aron as estratexias colaborativas de cara aos pr\u00f3ximos anos e discut\u00edronse en detalle os primeiros resultados cient\u00edficos obtidos cos actuais prototipos, as\u00ed como o estado das simulaci\u00f3ns.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asimetr\u00eda materia-antimateria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DUNE (<em>Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment<\/em>) \u00e9 un dos experimentos m\u00e1is sofisticados xamais constru\u00eddo, equipado co feixe de neutrinos m\u00e1is intenso do mundo. Constar\u00e1 de dous detectores: un preto da fonte de neutrinos, situado en Fermilab, preto de Chicago; e un segundo detector a 1.300 quil\u00f3metros de distancia e a m\u00e1is dun quil\u00f3metro baixo terra no Laboratorio de Investigaci\u00f3n Subterr\u00e1nea de Sanford, en Dakota do Sur. Nese traxecto, os neutrinos modifican a s\u00faa identidade ou \u2018sabor\u2019, pasando de tipo-mu\u00f3n a tipo-electr\u00f3n. Determinar con precisi\u00f3n esta oscilaci\u00f3n de sabor poder\u00eda axudar a explicar a asimetr\u00eda observada entre a materia e antimateria no noso universo. \u00c9 neste contexto no que se est\u00e1 desenvolvendo <a href=\"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/igfae-ber\/es\/neutrino-detector-dune\/\">ND-GAr, unha c\u00e1mara de proxecci\u00f3n temporal (TPC) de argon presurizado en cuxo dese\u00f1o traballa un equipo do IGFAE<\/a> liderado polo investigador Diego Gonz\u00e1lez-D\u00edaz. A\u00ednda que a primeira campa\u00f1a experimental est\u00e1 prevista para o ano 2029, a construci\u00f3n de ND-GAr non comezar\u00e1 ata o ano 2030, co obxecto de reconstru\u00edr en 3D a traxectoria das part\u00edculas producidas nas interacci\u00f3ns dos neutrinos, con moita maior precisi\u00f3n que a conseguida ata a data.<a href=\"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DUNE-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12180 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DUNE-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1299\" height=\"428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DUNE-2.jpg 1299w, https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DUNE-2-300x99.jpg 300w, https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DUNE-2-1024x337.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/igfae.usc.es\/igfae\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/DUNE-2-768x253.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1299px) 100vw, 1299px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Participaci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola en DUNE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DUNE \u00e9 un consorcio internacional formado por m\u00e1is de 1000 cient\u00edficos e cient\u00edficas, 200 instituci\u00f3ns e 30 pa\u00edses, onde o IGFAE participa con este proxecto no que traballan na actualidade Diego Gonz\u00e1lez-D\u00edaz, \u00c1ngela Saa, Pablo Amedo, Sara Leardini, Miguel Morais, David Jos\u00e9 Fern\u00e1ndez e David Gonz\u00e1lez. Ademais de numerosos colaboradores internacionais, en Espa\u00f1a conta co apoio do IFIC, CIEMAT, a Universidade de Granada e a Universidade de Vigo, recentemente incorporada.<\/p>\n<p>A participaci\u00f3n de IGFAE en DUNE est\u00e1 financiada a trav\u00e9s do programa interno de promoci\u00f3n de novas iniciativas IGNITE* e o programa europeo H2020 a trav\u00e9s do proxecto AIDAinnova para o desenvolvemento e transferencia de novas tecnolox\u00edas de detectores de part\u00edculas en Europa durante os pr\u00f3ximos 4 anos e, en concreto, para a optimizaci\u00f3n de TPCs presurizadas de nova xeraci\u00f3n con lectura \u00f3ptica.
