Dear Diego,
dear all,

here is the link for the doodle
https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/dP5wZA6e__;!!D9dNQwwGXtA!X6gFzWbxP8UC891UfPDsuWA9xP0QUJYH0e833033EKHOtjx-6ouqnCRBrvV0so45W8YVvQ0LTSSXnr_b9DQSBf7Ytlfbi7k$
I tried to offer time slots in the morning and
in the late afternoon, but we can modify if necessary.
Thank you very much
best regards

Barbara

Rinaldo asked me to make it, just because he couldn't do that technically.

Dear Diego and Enrique,

thanks for opening the invited talks procedure and sorry for my late
reaction. Following our usual rules, this has to be revised by IAC
for approval. I propose therefore to all IAC and IOC members to have
a general meeting during the week starting tomorrow.
We will decide by Google the most convenient day/time. I would like
to ask Barbara Liberti to take care of it.

With my best regards

Rinaldo

Dear colleagues,

on the wake of this second circular, we would like to open now a round for invited talks.
We do not anticipate dedicated funds for this, so it will need to be people from
our community, to start with. In exceptional cases, we could think of allocating funds.

Some ideas crossed our minds, but this is entirely up to discussion:

1- Paulo Fonte, LIP (25years since the invention of the tRPC technology, if I am not mistaken).
2- Rinaldo Santonico, Rome (status of the RPC technology).
3- Eraldo Oliveri, CERN (MPGDs vs RPCs, overlaps, challenges, opportunities).
4- Sebastian White, CERN (the future of timing in particle physics instrumentation).
5- Silvia Dalla Torre, INFN-Trieste (the future of gaseous detectors).
6- Vladimir Peskov / Piotr Gasik CERN/GSI, (discharges in gaseous detectors, where do we stand).
7- Rui Oliveira, CERN, (discharge-protection in gaseous detectors, where do we stand).
8- Alberto Blanco, LIP (applications beyond HEP).
9- Carlos Pecharromán, ICMM-Madrid (status and possibilities for resistive plates).
10- Piet Verwilligen (RPC simulations).

We would like to launch the invitations by mid-June, to give enough time to the speaker to respond/prepare
the presentation, so please let us know your opinion as soon as possible.

all the best,

Diego and Enrique
