last touches and one request

Dear colleagues from the international committees:
I think we are in conditions to announce some numbers, that will be only
slightly modified
from now on:
- 99 registered participants (including accompanying persons).
- 69 talks (confirmed, except 1).
- 13 posters (confirmed, except 1).
- Around 20 reservations at the campus Hostels (for ~30 participants)
As it will be announced hopefully tomorrow, there will be prices for
best talk and poster,
and we will receive the participants with a cocktail on Monday. The
lunches of the first
3 days are included in the fee. Note that on Wd there is an excursion
round the coast up to Finisterre
(ending with the sunset) and on Th there will be a visit to the old
town, followed by the conference dinner.
It is still a bit too early to say for sure, but it looks like you will
be received with 'typical Santiago's weather'.
This could be fun for few days, however note that it is characterized by
sudden alternation of sun, clouds and rain,
so it is in fact not easy to find the right clothes for the day
(expert-level). Apparently summer has ended today.
Despite that, rain is usually mild and bearable for most people with
jacket and no umbrella.
