Dear Tom,

Thank you for your message. Yes, we are able to merge the talks. Some details have to be omitted, of course, but interested readers can always find these in our papers. We understand the difficulty with the many submissions you have received and anticipated that this might happen. We might have to modify the title and abstract a bit, but it is a yes from our side.

Best regards,
Petja

Dear colleagues,

As you should have now seen, we have reviewed your abstracts submitted to WG1: Structure Functions and Parton Densities at DIS2022 in Santiago de Compostela. As you may be aware, being one of the first in person conferences in a long time, we have received an extraordinary number of abstract submissions. As a result, we have merged the two abstracts you submitted (both of which were of interest to us) into one talk and accepted them as one talk. The two abstracts are numbers 244 and 245 entitled "The EPPS21 global analysis of nuclear PDFs" and "Proton-PDF uncertainties in nuclear-PDFs fitting with p+Pb W± data" respectively and both were submitted by Petja Paakkinen. Could we confirm that you are able to merge these talks into one? Please let us know that this is fine for you as the authors as soon as possible and thanks in advance for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at DIS2022.

Many thanks,

Tom Cridge on behalf of the WG1 conveners (Tom, Barak, Klaus)
