Dear Tom, Barak, Klaus,

it would be fine for us to merge the two abstracts into a single contribution.
And we will be able to have one of us give the presentation in person;
we will let you know in due time who of us will be the speaker.

cheers, Simone

Subject: DIS2022 WG1 abstracts

Dear colleagues,

I am writing to you regarding your abstracts submitted to WG1: Structure Functions and Parton Densities at DIS2022 in Santiago de Compostela. As you may be aware, being one of the first in person conferences in a long time, we have received an extraordinary number of abstract submissions. As a result, we are writing to ask you if it might be possible to merge two of the abstracts submitted by yourselves and colleagues of yours.  The abstracts we refer to are both of interest to our group and are "Drell-Yan cross-sections with fiducial cuts - impact of linear power corrections and qT - resummation in PDF determinations" (abstract number 409 submitted with proposed speaker Alessandro Guida and coauthors Simone Amoroso, Ludovica Aperio Bella, Maarten Boonekamp, Stefano Camarda, Alexander Glazov, Renat Sadykov) and "Drell-Yan cross-sections confronting PDF fits" (abstract number 417 with proposed speaker Simone Amoroso and coauthors Alexander Glazov, Alessandro Guida, Renat Sadykov, Federico Vazzoler, Yulia Yermolchyk ), which we hope may be merged given the shared authors and related topics. Please share this email with your coauthors and let us know if this is would be fine for you as the authors as soon as possible and thanks in advance for your understanding. We would also ask you to confirm that a member of your collaboration would be able to attend to give the talk at Santiago in person.

Many thanks,

Tom Cridge on behalf of the WG1 conveners (Tom, Barak, Klaus)
