Dear Marco,
the 29th edition of the DIS 2022 Workshop on Deep-Inelastic Scattering (DIS)
and Related Subjects is scheduled to take place May 2-6, 2022.
The abstract submission is open at:
https://indico.cern.ch/event/1072533/
where you can find further updated information concerning the event.
With this message, we would like to draw your attention to the WG4 section of
the Workshop, which is devoted to “QCD with Heavy Flavours and Hadronic Final
States”. The topics of interest for this section include, in particular:
* Open heavy flavour and quarkonia production, with particular
emphasis (but not limited) to the DIS case
* Correlation observables in heavy-flavour production
* Constraining parton distribution functions (PDFs) and nuclear PDFs
with open HF / quarkonia
* Constraining fragmentation functions and fractions for heavy-flavoured
mesons and baryons
* Accessing charm and bottom masses with DIS and other measurements
* Heavy-quarks on the lattice
* Hadronization mechanisms studies with heavy quarks
* Charm and bottom jets and their substructure
* Heavy flavour energy loss in cold and hot QCD matter
* Exotics
Confident that you are working on at least some of the aforementioned topics,
we warmly encourage you and your working group to consider the
possibility of submitting a related abstract for a talk and/or a poster
in the WG4 parallel section!
Please note that the deadline for abstract submission is February 13th, 2022.
In case of any question, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
The WG4 Conveners:
Xuan Li (LANL), Olga Evdokimov (UI-Chicago) and Maria V. Garzelli (Uni. Hamburg)
