Dear DIS'2022 organizers!

Today I  saw a letter from the international Advisory Committee and the Local Organizing Committee of DIS workshop, dedicated to the format of the possible participation of scientists from Russia in the conference. I am very sorry that I could not answer earlier (there were problems with access the CERN account and email, respectively, too. So, i couldn't see it before).
I would like to withdraw my talk from the conference (but I can't do it on the conference website) (title of my talk:  "Role of initial state gluon emissions in double J/psi production at central rapidities" in WG4 parallel session).

I think this will be a logical decision at the moment, because the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues (and I am afraid that the war will continue for a long time. I have already lost hope that this all-destructive madness will be stopped in the near future). Besides that the rules of participation can change at any moment. This will create even more inconvenience for us.

But, in any case, I hope that we will be able to maintain communication in one form or another  (between the European and Russian scientific communities) and meet at future conferences.

Best regards,
Andrei Prokhorov
