Hi everybody,
This *Friday 28th at 11:30 in Aula I8 (notice unusual place)* we will keep
on going with the Cordas-Club. *Sibylle Driezen* will finish with the
second part of last day's session, i.e. the paper* "Integrable E-models, 4d
Chern-Simons theory and Affine Gaudin Models" *by Sylvain Lacroix and
Benoit Vicedo. .
*Abstract:*
These researchers belong to a group of people that try to describe
2-dimensional integrable field theories in a general and rigorous way.
Recently they have been employing the framework of 4d Chern Simons (CS)
theory, proposed by Costello and Yamazaki (https://arxiv.org/abs/1908.02289)
in order to do so. In this paper they show that in a very general set-up,
the 2d reduced theories from 4d CS are naturally captured by integrable
E-models. This is quite interesting because the latter have been introduced
by Klimcik and Severa ('95 -- '97) to make Poisson-Lie T-duality of sigma
model manifest, which is a more general notion of conventional T-duality.
This paper therefore adds another interesting connection between
integrability and generalised dualities. After motivating several of these
concepts, and perhaps illustrate some with a simple example, I will sketch
their methods and results briefly in view of time.

from each other, but of course all protocols are to be respected and masks
will be mandatory for all attendants.
